On the participation of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation in the XXI International Scientific Conference «Youth in Science 2024»

On October 30-31, 2024, the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation took part in the XXI International Scientific Conference «Youth in Science 2024», held at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

This is an annual conference for young scientists, postgraduates, master’s students and students working in such areas of science as biology, medicine, physics and technology, physics and mathematics, agriculture, chemistry and earth sciences, humanities and arts.

This year, a record 600 participants and more than 20 sections were announced for the conference. Representatives from academic organizations and universities of Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey took part.

In the section «History, librarianship» the leading archivist of the department of information and use of documents E.V.Shkut spoke with the report «Documents of the fund No.186 «Chief designer of the Minsk Automobile Plant, professor of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute Georgy Mikhailovich Kokin» as a source on the history of the post-war automobile industry of the BSSR».

Following the conference, a collection «Youth in Science – 2024: abstracts of reports of the XXI International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists (Minsk, October 29-31, 2024)» was published, available at the link.
