Institution «Zonal State Archive in Krichev» at events within the framework of the pilot project «Young Archivist»

October 23, 2024, within the framework of the republican campaign «Archives for School» on the basis of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.1 in Krichev», for students of grade 3 «A», the leading archivist of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Krichev» Victoria Kondratenko held a conversation on the topic «We are bequeathed to preserve».

At the beginning of the meeting, the leading archivist of the institution Victoria Kondratenko, the students listened to information about the history of the creation of archival affairs in the Krichev district, and the main areas of its activities, the composition of the documents in storage. Then she acquainted the children with archival materials confirming the atrocities of the Nazis on the Krichev land, eyewitness accounts of the mass murder of Jews, the burned village of Antonovka.
