On the holding of a lecture and excursion for students of grades 5 «B» and 6 «G» of the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No.10 named after Metropolitan Philaret (Vakhromeyev) of Grodno) in the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno

On October 23, 2024, in the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno, as part of the republican campaign «Archives – to School», a lecture and excursion were held for students of grades 5 «B» and 6 «G» of the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No.10 named after Metropolitan Philaret (Vakhromeyev) of Grodno. During the lecture, the students got acquainted with the history of the creation of the archive, the composition of its documents, and saw a number of interesting cases. During the excursion, the schoolchildren visited the exhibition hall, the archive storage, the laboratory of special document processing, where they observed the process of restoration of archival cases, and in conclusion, they watched a film prepared by BGAKFFD.
