Employees of the Zonal State Archive in Rechitsa visited the palace of the Rumyantsevs and the Paskeviches in Gomel
On October 19, 2024, a tour of the former homestead of the Rumyantsevs and Paskeviches was held for employees of the ZGA in Rechitsa, members of the primary trade union organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions. The palace building is an architectural monument of the 18th century and contains numerous exhibits, including personal belongings of its residents, sculptures, books, paintings and much more. Guides told about the history of the palace, gave interesting facts about the life of its last owners – Prince Fyodor Paskevich and his wife Irina, who helped the development of local education and health care. As a result, the employees of the Rechitsa State Archives (some of them were with children) were satisfied with an interesting and informative excursion.
