Excursion and film lecture at the ZGA in Rechitsa
On October 15, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» pilot project, an excursion was held at the Rechitsa State Archives for 8th-grade students of Secondary School No. 8 in Rechitsa. Archivists informed them about the history of the archive, showed documents about the genocide and liberation of the Rechitsa District and Gomel Region during the Great Patriotic War. The eighth-graders consolidated their knowledge of these events by watching the documentary «Liberation», prepared by the BGAKFFD for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi occupiers.
