From September 29 to October 2, 2024, employees of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region held an event called «Archives for School» with a screening of the film «Liberation» prepared by the BGAKFFD for schoolchildren and students of the city of Khanty-Mansiysk (Yugra) (Russian Federation)

As part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the archival industry of Yugra, Deputy Director of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region Tatyana Buevich held meetings with schoolchildren of grades 5–10 of Secondary Comprehensive School No. 8 (Khanty-Mansiysk (Yugra) and with students of the Yugra State University about the history of the liberation of Belarus with a screening of the film «Liberation» prepared by the BGAKFFD.

During the sessions, the children were told the history of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders in September 1943 – August 1944, information was voiced about the genocide of the Belarusian people, about catastrophic consequences of three years of occupation.

After the screening, an exchange of impressions about the film took place.

3. In the scientific library of the Yugra State University during the event.
