Anti-Corruption Seminar for Heads of Republican Archival Institutions

On September 26, 2024, the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the Department) held a scientific and practical seminar on «Anti-Corruption in Government Bodies and Organizations» at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus. The seminar was attended by heads of republican archival institutions, their deputies, chief accountants and employees in reserve for management positions.

In his opening remarks, the Director of the Department Oleg Leonidovich Voinov pointed out the relevance of this event from the point of view of understanding by managers of the importance of organizing and conducting targeted work in archives to combat and prevent corruption.

The participants of the seminar were addressed by the Senior Prosecutor of the Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Vasilievich Trubchik (topic: «Counteraction of law enforcement agencies to corruption in the Republic of Belarus») and the Head of the Department for the Development of Measures to Combat Organized Crime and Corruption of the Scientific and Practical Center for Problems of Strengthening Law and Order of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Belarus, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Elena Alekseevna Korotich (topic: «Organization of Work to Combat Corruption in State Institutions of the Republic of Belarus»).
