The «Archives for School» campaign continues at the «Zonal State Archives in Glubokoe»

Last week, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, lessons and excursions for schoolchildren continued at the State Archives in Glubokoe.

On September 25 and 26, the archive was visited by students from the Udelovskaya Secondary School and the Shunevskaya Basic School of the Glubokoe District. The children familiarized themselves with the documents presented at the exhibition of archival documents «Do you want peace? Remember the war!», which tell about the genocide of the Belarusian people in the Glubokoe District during the Great Patriotic War.

On September 27, the archive received students from the Derkovshchina Basic School of the Glubokoe District. They were also shown an exhibition and a film lecture with a screening of the film «Liberation. Vitebsk», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

On the same day, the archive staff visited Secondary School No.2 in Glubokoe, where they held a lesson for 8th and 10th grade students on the topic of «Genocide of the Belarusian people in the Glubokoe District during the Great Patriotic War». After the lesson, the children were shown the film «Liberation. Vitebsk».
