A lesson within the framework of the pilot project «Young Archivist» in the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region»

On September 25, 2024, the first lesson of the new academic year with 1st-year students of the educational institution «Mogilev State College of Arts» was held at the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» as part of the pilot project «Young Archivist» and the republican campaign «Archives – to School». During the lesson, the students got acquainted with the types of activities that the archive carries out. The children also visited the archive storage and the laboratory for digitizing archival documents

After the lesson, the film «Liberation» was shown in the reading room for those gathered, which was prepared by the employees of the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents» (Dzerzhinsk) as part of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
