Last week, the State Archives in Glubokoe continued to hold lessons for schoolchildren on the topic of «Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War in the Glubokoe District».
On September 19, the archive opened its doors to students of the Prozorokskaya and Plisskaya secondary schools of the Glubokoe District. They got acquainted with the exhibition of archival documents «Do you want peace? Remember the war!» which presents documents telling about the occupation regime in the Glubokoe District during the Great Patriotic War.
On September 21, the archive was visited by students of the Korobovskaya secondary school of the Glubokoe District. A film lecture with a screening of the film «Liberation. Vitebsk», prepared by the Belarusian state archive of film, photo and sound documents, was held for them in the reading room of the archive and a virtual exhibition of archival documents «Without a statute of limitations», presented by the State Archive in Glubokoe. After classes, the children were given a sightseeing tour of the archive in the form of a quest «History in archival documents».
