On the visit of the State Archives of the Brest Region by students of the Brest State College of Instrument Engineering

As part of the events dedicated to the Day of National Unity and as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, on September 18, 2024, the State Archives of the Brest Region (building on Engels Street, 8) was visited by 3rd-year students of the UO «Brest State College of Instrument Engineering».

The students were introduced to archival documents presented at the exhibition dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the reunification of Western Belarus and the BSSR, which tell about the first events of the Soviet government in the western regions of Belarus reunited with the BSSR.

Then the students were given a sightseeing tour of the archive with a visit to the archive storage and a laboratory for the repair and restoration of archival documents.
