Events with the participation of employees of the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» dedicated to the Day of National Unity

To mark the Day of National Unity and the 85th anniversary of the reunification of Western Belarus and the BSSR, employees of the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» took part in a number of events with a screening of the documentary film «Reunification» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

On September 17, at the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 42 of Mogilev», the archivist of the 1st qualification category of the Department of Scientific Use of Documents and Information Alexey Shvyryov held an information lesson, during which he introduced schoolchildren to the history of the holiday.

On September 18, at the library-branch No. 2 named after I. Shamyakin, Mogilev, leading archivist of the department of scientific use of documents and information Alexander Petukhov spoke to students of the Educational Institution «Mogilev State College of Arts».

On the same day, an instructional meeting was held at the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 43» on the issue of holding a Single Information Day on the topic «We are together forever: for the 85th anniversary of the reunification of Western Belarus and the BSSR», at which the participants of the meeting were shown the film «Reunification».

The events aroused interest and a lively response from the audience.
