On the visit to the excavations of mass graves of civilians by employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

On September 16, 2024, employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» together with employees of the libraries of the city of Mogilev visited the excavations of previously unknown mass graves of civilians from the Great Patriotic War, carried out in the Kazimirowski forest.

At the moment, as a result of the work of the 52nd separate specialized search battalion, several places with the remains of citizens killed by the Nazis have been discovered in this forest. The destruction was carried out by shooting, throwing grenades, using death machines – «gas chambers».

Those present were able to see facts of inhuman cruelty and terrible evidence of the atrocities of the Nazis.
