September 17, in the ZGA in Zhlobin

September 17, 2024, on National Unity Day, the institution «Zonal State Archive in Zhlobin» held events dedicated to this state holiday:

a ceremonial meeting of the work collective, at which the acting director of the state archive, Voitik T.F., spoke about the historical foundations of the state holiday»;

a lesson «We are together – the country of Belarus» with 8th-grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 7 in Zhlobin» as part of the pilot project «Young Archivist». Archivist Yeliseyeva I.N. spoke about the history of the state holiday, about how the reunification of Western Belarus and the BSSR took place, about the significance of this holiday for modern Belarus.

The lesson ended with a screening of the film «Reunification», prepared by the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents».
