On August 15, 2024, as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region was visited by students of grades 10-11 of Secondary School No. 17 named after I.R. Bumagin in Vitebsk

A sightseeing tour of the archive was organized for the children, during which the schoolchildren got acquainted with the history of archival work in the Vitebsk region and the main areas of activity of a modern archive, visited one of the archive storage facilities and got an idea of the organization of document storage in the archive and measures to ensure their safety.

The schoolchildren were also shown a virtual exhibition of archival documents «Quality Mark: Red October», dedicated to the Year of Quality.
