The Zonal State Archive in Novogrudok organized film lectures at the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No. 1 of Novogrudok»

As part of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could» and the republican campaign «Archives for Schools», film lectures were held at the gymnasium No. 1 of Novogrudok for the students of the summer health camps of Secondary School No. 7 and Gymnasium No. 1 of Novogrudok.

During the meetings, screenings of the newsreel «Liberation» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents were organized. The schoolchildren learned not only about the history of the liberation of the republic from the Nazi invaders, but also about the city of Novogrudok in particular, the military actions that took place during the Belostok offensive operation and the heroic liberators.
