The State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region held a training seminar on the topic of «Changes and additions to the instructions for office work in government agencies and other organizations»

On July 31, 2024, as part of providing practical and methodological assistance to organizations that are sources of staffing the state archive, a training seminar on the topic of «Changes and additions to the instructions for office work in government agencies and other organizations» was held at the State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region.

The event was attended by regional, city and district public associations.

A multimedia presentation on the stated topic was presented to the audience. During the seminar, the following were considered: the scope and procedure for applying Instruction No. 4, organizational and legal support for office work, registration of document details, use of double-sided printing when producing documents on paper, nomenclature of organization files, formation of files, examination of the value of documents, registration of files, destruction of documents with expired storage periods, features of working with documents in electronic form, and the importance of strict compliance with the requirements of the legislation on office work was also noted.

The participants of the event had the opportunity to: ask questions of interest regarding changes in the instructions, discuss practical aspects of applying the new rules, receive practical recommendations on working with documents.

The seminar aroused great interest among the audience and became a valuable tool for improving professional competencies in the field of office work.

In conclusion, the seminar participants were given a tour of the archive, during which representatives of public associations were introduced to the exhibitions of archival documents and photographs: «Man is Glorious for His Labor» and «Heroes of the Great Victory,» which are exhibited in the state archive.
