Round table in the Mogilev Central City Library named after K.Marx

In the Mogilev Central City Library named after K.Marx On July 10, 2024, a round table «Belarus: Liberation, Memory, Independence» was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

As part of the round table, the main speakers made presentations by the deputy director for core activities of the cultural institution «Mogilev Regional Museum of Local Lore named after E.R.Romanov» Alexandra Burakova and the leading archivist of the department for the scientific use of documents and information of the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» Alexander Petukhov, who told young specialists of institutions and organizations of the city of Mogilev about the life of citizens during the Great Patriotic War.

The organizers, for their part, introduced the round table participants to information resources, thematic databases, exhibitions on stands and display cases, which were prepared by library employees on this topic.
