Virtual exhibition «Photographic documents from the collections of BGAKFFD, dedicated to the Year of Quality»

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, 2024 has been declared the Year of Quality. This decision was made in order to further improve the quality of life of the Belarusian people, ensure the competitiveness of the national economy on the world stage, stimulate initiative, create responsibility in society for the results of their work and a sense of belonging to the future of the country.

The Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents has prepared a photo exhibition «Made in Belarus» for the Year of Quality. The 10 stands of the photo exhibition contain information about iconic enterprises of the republic, such as OJSC Krasny Pishevik, SOJSC Kommunarka, OJSC Belarusian Automobile Plant (BelAZ), High Technology Park and so on, or about the leading sectors of the Belarusian economy – meat and dairy and light industry, medical services and others.

Currently, the collections of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents contain a huge layer of audiovisual documents that allow you to get acquainted with the development of the Belarusian economy from the 20th century to the present day.
