Summing up the results of student practice at BGAMLI

On July 8, 2024, at the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI), a summing up of the educational practice of 2nd year students of the specialty «Historical and Archival Studies» of the Faculty of History of the BSU took place with the participation of leaders from the archive-museum and the university.

During their internship, students became acquainted with the work of the archive-museum and studied the specifics of its activities, and also carried out research work on the chosen topic.

Director of the archive-museum E.A.Makarenko addressed the students and once again emphasized the importance of cooperation between state archives and higher educational institutions to develop professional competencies among future archivists. In the process of summing up, students shared their results, acquired skills and abilities. In addition, the guys received feedback and advice on improving their work.

Summing up the results of educational practice is not only the completion of the stage of student activity, but also an opportunity for self-reflection, assessment of achievements and determination of one’s future professional plans. This is an excellent way to prepare students for future professional activities and their successful adaptation in a professional environment.
