On holding lectures and excursions for students of the school camp of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.37 in Grodno» at the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno

On July 8, 2024, a lecture and excursion were held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno for students of the school camp of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.37 in Grodno» as part of the republican action «Archives for School».

At the lecture, students became acquainted with the history of the creation of the archive and the composition of its documents. During the excursion, the guys visited the exhibition hall, archive storage and a laboratory for special document processing. Of greatest interest to visitors was the «archivist’s corner» in the exhibition hall, where writing pens and watermarked paper are displayed, as well as an inkwell and a typewriter.
