The staff of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region received gratitude from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

The honorary award was presented on June 20 at the scientific and practical conference «Beshankovitsky region: historical and cultural heritage of the region» for the study, preservation and popularization of the historical and cultural heritage of the Vitebsk region and fruitful cooperation with scientific institutions of the Department of Humanities and Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The gratitude of the chairman of the Beshenkovichi district executive committee was announced to the leading archivist of the department of information retrieval systems and automated archival technologies, Anton Nikiforovich Yupatov, for his significant personal contribution to the study of the history of the party and Soviet authorities of the Beshenkovichi region and in connection with the 100th anniversary of the district.

At the conference, eight reports were made by archive staff on various issues of the history of the Beshenkovichi region.
