On June 17, 2024, the institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» (hereinafter referred to as the State Archive) and the State Treasury Institution of the Bryansk Region «State Archives of the Bryansk Region» (hereinafter referred to as the State Archive of the Bryansk Region) held the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Development of Archival Affairs in the Modern Period. Problems and prospects».

In his opening remarks, Andrei Nikolaevich Suschevich noted that preserving and preserving the country’s documentary wealth for history is the main task of state archives.
