On conducting a master class and excursions by specialists of the zonal state archive in Kobrin for students of secondary school No. 7 in Kobrin

On June 13, 2024, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign, two groups of students from the «Wonderland» health camp of secondary school No. 7 in Kobrin visited the zonal state archive in Kobrin.

Students attended the «Young Archivist» master class, during which archive specialists showed how documents undergo full archival processing before entering permanent storage.

The children were also given sightseeing tours of the archive and were introduced to poster exhibitions.

At the end of the events, schoolchildren were shown social videos for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and for Victory Day, prepared by employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents (BGAKFFD) as part of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could.»
