On June 7, 2024, students of the Vitebsk State Technological College visited the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region

The event took place as part of the republican action «Archives for School» and timed to coincide with the International Week of Archives and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

During the visit, students studying in the specialty «Documentation support of management» got acquainted with the main directions of the archive’s activities, the composition and storage conditions of documents, publications produced by the archive, and also learned about where the main sets of documents about The Great Patriotic War, and watched the documentary film «To the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Vitebsk region from the Nazi invaders», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents.
