Meeting with the staff of the Novogrudok regional library

As part of the International Archives Week, a meeting was held between the director of the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok A.S.Zabelinskaya and employees of the Novogrudok Regional Library, during which a documentary film about the liberation of the city of Grodno was shown.

Alla Stepanovna told those present about the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, as well as about the history of the liberation of Novogrudok during the Bialystok offensive operation on July 8, 1944.

At the end of the event, the director of the state archive answered questions raised by the event participants, wished everyone a peaceful sky above their heads and that new generations would not know war.
