The institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» continues to organize screenings of the documentary film «Liberation» at Gomel enterprises

May 29, 2024 as part of the «Open Film Archive» project. We brought this day closer as best we could,» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» (hereinafter referred to as the State Archive) organized a screening of the documentary film «Liberation» for employees of the State Institution «Gomel Regional Center for Transfusiology».

Before watching the film, the director of the GAGom A.N. Suschevich told the staff of the regional center of transfusiology about the project that was prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents, where the story about the liberation of the cities of Belarus is told in chronological order.

«Every citizen of his country should know the history of his homeland. We must remember the exploits of our ancestors and the cost at which our people achieved Victory in the Great Patriotic War,» said the director of the archive.
