On the holding of an archival lesson «In the footsteps of courage and fortitude» at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders

May 17, 2024, within the framework of the republican action «Archives for School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist» in the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno with the aim of expanding students’ knowledge about the history of the Grodno province through archival documents, as well as developing skills in working with archival documents sources, the last ninth archival lesson was conducted for students of the 10th «A» class of social and humanitarian orientation of school No.28 named after V.D.Sokolovsky, Grodno.

The lesson was held in the form of a multimedia reflection lesson «In the footsteps of courage and perseverance», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, in which students remembered the heroes of the Patriotic War of 1812, and also learned about the archive staff – veterans of the Great Patriotic War . 10 «A» class of secondary school No.28 named after. VD. Sokolovsky in Grodno was awarded a diploma for active participation in archival classes throughout the academic year.
