Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus

On May 10, 2024, a photo-documentary exhibition dedicated to the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus opened at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.

Every person should be well aware of the symbols of the state in which he lives – the flag, coat of arms, anthem. After all, they accompany us throughout our lives. Every national event takes place under the shadow of these symbols.

State symbols, using simple and understandable means, reflect the patriotic, historical and cultural traditions of the country, the character of the people, and their spiritual potential. They are endowed with bright features and are easily recognizable among all state symbols of the world community; they are the history and future of the Belarusian state, the embodiment of the idea of national unity, the most important attributes of the sovereignty and independence of the Fatherland.

The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus presented at the exhibition unique documents on the history of the creation of the flag, coat of arms and anthem of our country:
