Employees of the Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Documentation honored the memory of the victims of the Nazi invaders

According to an already established tradition, on the eve of the celebration of the 79th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, a group of BelNITsED employees led by Deputy Director for Scientific Work Lyubov Nikolaevna Signevich laid flowers at the monument at the Mass Grave of Soviet prisoners of war, partisans and civilians on 9-m kilometer of the Moscow highway.

The obelisk stands at the burial site of thirty thousand Soviet prisoners of war, partisans and civilians who were tortured and shot by the Nazi invaders in 1941-1943.

Those gathered honored the memory of their fallen compatriots with a minute of silence.

Director of the Center Denis Valentinovich Shabrov, together with the heads of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, took part in mourning events at the Military Cemetery in Minsk.
