On May 3, 2024, the working day at the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region began with a collective viewing of the documentary film «Liberation», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents

Premiere screening of the film as part of the Open Film Archive project. We brought this day closer as best we could,» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, on this day it was also organized in the main department of justice of the Vitebsk regional executive committee, Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, gymnasium No. 8 and secondary school No. 47 in Vitebsk.

The film screening was preceded by speeches from the deputy director of the archive, T.V. Buevich, head department E.M. Bondareva, leading archivists A.V. Bogdanova and Yu.A. Kiseleva.
