As part of the republican action «Archives to School», employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Mozyr» demonstrated the full-length documentary film «Liberation»

May 3, 2024, as part of the republican action «Archives to School» and the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could,» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, a full-length documentary was demonstrated for students of the educational institution «Mozyr State College of Geology» in the amount of 48 people by the staff of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Mozyr» the film «Liberation», prepared by the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents».

Before watching the film, archivist archivist of the department of information and use of documents Yulia Mikhailovna Suponenko told the children about the offensive operation «Bagration», the military operations of the Red Army, the partisans who participated in the liberation of our country, about the heroism of the operators of front-line film groups, home front workers who, at the cost of their lives, won for us the right to live under a peaceful sky in a free and independent Belarus.
