Participation of employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents in the premiere screening of the film «Time to Return»

On May 2, 2024, employees of the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo-Phono Documents» took part in the premiere screening of the film «Time to Return», directed by I.Pavlov, produced by the National Film Studio «Belarusfilm» 2024.

The film is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus and is dedicated to the partisan struggle in the occupied territory before the start of Operation Bagration. When preparing the film, the film studio selected documents from the BGAKFFD funds – newsreels filmed in the occupied territory in 1934-1944. in the Vitebsk region, reflecting the activities of the partisan movement, as well as fragments from the film «The People’s Avengers» (1943) about punitive operations carried out by the Nazi invaders and their accomplices.

The deputy head of the department for the use of documents and information, Mikhail Vladimirovich Garelik, the prosecutor of the Dzerzhinsky district, Vladimir Petrovich Nepukupny, and the poetess Lyudmila Vladimirovna Kruglik addressed the participants of the show with a welcoming speech.
