On organizing the premiere screening of the documentary film «Liberation»

On May 3, as part of the republican action «Archives to School» and the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could,» for students of the educational institution «Slutsk Medical College named after S.I. Shklyarevsky,» employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Slutsk» held a screening of the documentary film «Liberation» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Germans. fascist invaders, prepared by the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents».

Before watching the film, the director of the archive, I.A. Borodina, told the children about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War: front-line soldiers, underground fighters and partisans, home front workers who paid a high price for our right to live under a peaceful sky. And why the Day of Independence and Liberation of Belarus is important for each of us. May 9 and July 3 are not just holiday dates. This is a symbol of the feat of the entire Belarusian people, their heroism in the Great Patriotic War.
