Opening of the exhibition «Cartoons on Classics» with the participation of BSAMLA

On April 29, 2024, the director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko, took part and delivered a welcoming speech at the opening of the temporary literary and artistic exhibition «Cartoons on the Classics» at the State Literary and Memorial Museum of Yakub Kolas.

The main organizer of this event was the scientific and methodological journal «Native Words», where over the past years the project «An anthology of Belarusian cartoons» has been carried out.

The temporary exhibition presents materials from the collections of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, the State Literary and Memorial Museum of Yakub Kolas, the State Literary Museum of Yanka Kupala, the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature, and the Belarusian Union of Artists.
