As part of the republican action «Archives for School» and the pilot project «Young Archivist», on April 26, 2024, another workshop was held at the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region for students of the Faculty of Humanities and Language Communications of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov

Under the leadership of the head. By the department of information retrieval systems and automated archival technologies E.M. Bondareva, future specialists in the field of museum affairs and the protection of historical and cultural heritage acquired skills in working with catalogs in the «NSA catalogues» software module of a standard AIS archive.

The head of the department for the use and publication of documents, V.P. Kokhanko, introduced those present to the work of the archive in the field of use of documents and demonstrated the virtual project of the archive «Death Camp», as well as the documentary film «For the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Vitebsk region from the Nazi invaders», prepared by Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents.

In accordance with the seminar program, work was organized for students to identify archival documents on cases.
