On the participation of NARB workers in the international conference «Belarus – Armenia: Pages of History»
On April 18-19, 2024, employees of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus took part in the international scientific conference «Belarus – Armenia: Pages of History», which took place at the Institute of the History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and was organized together with the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia In the Republic of Belarus, the Aniv Armenian Armenian Studies Fund.
On April 18, the director of NARB A.K.Demyanyuk took part in the plenary meeting. One of the moderators of the second meeting «The History of the Belarusian-Armenian Cultural Relations: New Time» was the leading archivist of the department of use of documents and information, Ph.D. V.P.Garmatny.
On April 19, the work of the third meeting «History of the Belarusian-Armenian Cultural Relations: the latest time» was held. It was performed: a researcher at the publication department of NARB T.N.Ageenko (report «Armenians in the documents of the party complex of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus 1917-1991»); The junior researcher of the same department, Ph.D. H.E.Borovskaya (report «The role of plenipotentiary representatives of the RSFSR (USSR) in Poland L.M.Karakhan and Ya.Kh.Davtyan in the development of Soviet-Polish relations 1921-1939»), it also acted as one of the moderators of the third meeting; Leading archivist of the department of use of documents and information, Ph.D. V.P.Garmatny (report «Belarusian-Armenian football ties 1991–2024»). In absentia, the conference was attended by the Deputy Director of the Archive, Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok (report «An undeservedly forgotten chief of staff: V.M.Ayrapetov and his fighting fate»).
