A Practical Action Plan to expand cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the archival services of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus for 2024-2029 was signed
On April 11, 2024, a ceremony was held to sign the Practical Action Plan to expand cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Committee of Archives, Documentation and Book Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus for 2024-2029 (via video conferencing).
Present at the ceremony:
from the Belarusian side – Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Oleg Voinov, heads of republican archival institutions and employees of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus,
from the Kazakh side – Chairman of the Committee of Archives, Documentation and Book Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rustam Ali, heads of archival institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the presentation of the work of the archival industry of the Republic of Belarus, Oleg Voinov emphasized that the expansion of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between archival institutions of Belarus and Kazakhstan will serve to improve the professional level of archivists in both countries and will give another impetus to the development of the archival sphere.
In his speech, Rustam Ali noted that the signing of a Practical Action Plan to expand cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the archival services of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus is a logical continuation of the already established mutually beneficial cooperation between states in other areas of activity.
The joint projects provided for by the Plan are aimed at strengthening professional relations between archivists of Kazakhstan and Belarus, as well as preserving and popularizing the documentary heritage of our peoples.
