On the opening of the exhibitions «Cities of Belarus: Orthodox churches in Grodno» and conducting a thematic excursion in the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno

On April 10, 2024, the opening of the poster and book exhibition «Cities of Belarus: Orthodox Churches in Grodno», dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the formation of the Grodno Church Construction Commission, took place at the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno.

The first guests at the opening of the exhibitions were students of grades 6 and 7 of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.22 named after I.P.Bokhan in Grodno». The students were told about the history of Orthodox church building in the Grodno province. Photocopies of archival documents and books about churches in Grodno were presented to their attention.

Students were given a tour of the archive. The guests visited the archives and the special document processing laboratory with great pleasure.
