The Central Laboratory continues career guidance work with students
The state institution «Central Laboratory for Ensuring the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus» is consistently working to familiarize students of specialized universities with the specifics of its activities in order to form a personnel base of potential employees.
The previous time the laboratory director V.L. Klyuiko met with BSU students was in March 2024 directly in the classroom.
This time, on April 3, 2024, the guests of the laboratory were third-year students of the history and archival specialization of the history department of BSU, led by Associate Professor of the Department of Source Studies Ivanova O.S.
Students familiarized themselves with great interest with all stages of the technological process of microbiological research, disinfection, restoration, binding, microfilming and digitization of archival documents, and asked many questions to the specialists.
The result of the meeting was the mutual intentions of the Center for the Study of Sources and the Department of Source Studies of BSU to develop closer cooperation in terms of training and joint events within the framework of the republican action «Archives for School».
