On holding a lecture and excursion for students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.16 named after. A. Sukhombayev, Grodno» as part of the republican action «Archives for School» in the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno

On April 2, 2024, a lecture was held at the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno for 6th grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.16 named after A.Sukhombaev, Grodno» about the history of the creation of the archive, the main directions of its activities and the composition of documents.

Visitors were given a sightseeing tour of the archive. In the exhibition hall of the archive, students got acquainted with poster exhibitions and exhibits of the «archivist’s corner of the 19th-20th centuries», in the archive storage they learned about the conditions for storing archival documents, and also watched with particular interest the restoration of original archival documents in the laboratory for special document processing.
