Participation of BSAMLA in the presentation event «Vyasnovya perazovs: janchyny-creators on the old houses of the Sakavitskaga numara «Rodnaga Slova»

On March 28, 2024, the director of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko, and the leading archivist, Natalya Pavlovna Prinko, took part in the presentation event «Vyasnovy Perazovs: Zhanchyn-creators in the old houses of the Sakavitskaga numara «Rodnaga Slova», organized on the basis of the State Museum of History Belarusian literature.

The event was attended by more than 80 people: authors and partners of the magazine, researchers, representatives of the museum, the People’s Literary Theater «Living Word», the string ensemble «La vie», students of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, students of secondary schools in Minsk.

The first spring issue of the scientific and methodological magazine «Native Words» is dedicated to the jubel poets Anna Novik and Evdakiya Los, writers – authors of a collection of women’s short stories from the book series «Suchasnaya Belarusian Literature». Archival research of the magazine is devoted to the work of Larisa Alexandrovskaya and Evgenia Pflyumbaum.

Director of the archive-museum E.A. Makarenko gave a report on the life and work of Larisa Pompeevna Alexandrovskaya, in which she paid special attention to new archival finds (letters from N. Nikolaev to L.P. Alexandrovskaya during the Great Patriotic War).

From the funds of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the painting «Breath of Spring» by the People’s Artist of Belarus Raisa Kudrevich was presented.

During the event, an express presentation of archival, museum and journal projects «Native Words» and joint initiatives aimed at popularizing Belarusian culture took place.
