On conducting a thematic excursion «Improving material and moral living conditions…» for citizens of the «silver age» in the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno

On March 28, 2024, at the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno, a thematic excursion «Improving material and moral living conditions …» was organized for elderly citizens of the social service center of the Leninsky district of Grodno.

Visitors got acquainted with archival documents revealing the history of the Mutual Aid Society for Women’s Christian Domestic Servants in Grodno, learned about the prerequisites for its emergence and activities on issues of vocational training, education, culture, ethics, education and morality.

The guests visited the exhibition hall, the archive storage, and the laboratory for special document processing, where they watched with great pleasure the processes of restoration and binding of archival documents. Visitors were delighted with how interesting the work of the archivists was.
