BSAMLA received documents from the writer and screenwriter Vladimir Lvovich Mekhov (Nekhamkin)

On March 14, 2024, the head of the department of archives of organizations and formation of the NAF of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, Maria Iosifovna Pyshinskaya, after long negotiations, met with the son of prose writer Vladimir Lvovich Mekhov (Nekhamkin) – Sergei Vladimirovich Nekhamkin. The meeting took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Biographical documents (certificates, congratulatory addresses, etc.), creative documents of the prose writer V.L. were donated to the archive-museum. Mekhov (materials collected for the stories «The Red Governor», «The Flag over the Revolutionary Committee», «The case of the assassination attempt is being heard» (dedicated to I. Pulikhov), for the documentary films «The History of One Filigram», for the play «Flight», etc.), correspondence, photographs and other documents reflecting his creative activity and personal life.

Work on the reception by the archive-museum of documents from the personal archive of V.L. Mehava (Nyakhamkina) will be continued.
