About the presentation of the publication «Archives. Nothing but the truth» at the XXXI Minsk International Book Fair

On March 14, 2024, as part of the XXXI Minsk International Book Fair, a presentation of the popular science publication «Archives. Nothing but the truth» is a joint project of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and BelTA.

Speaking at the presentation, First Deputy General Director of BelTA V.I.Matveev emphasized that this unique publishing project shows the essence of the Nazi crimes in the occupied territory of Belarus. The articles are based on documents from the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB).

Leading Researcher of the Publications Department of NARB V.D.Selemenev noted that the archive has already implemented a number of scientific projects on the history of the genocide of the Belarusian people. Considering that in recent years the public has increased interest in this topic, the preparation of a popular science publication is especially relevant.

The book exhibition featured publications in the preparation of which NARB took part: the 6-volume project «Without a Statute of Limitations. Belarus», «Khatyn tragedy», «Killers of Khatyn», «Burnt villages of Belarus (1941-1944)», «You still have a choice…».
