The Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa presents a document on the restoration of the Rechitsa sawmill named after Kirov

During the occupation of Rechitsa (from August 23, 1941 to November 18, 1943), the Nazi invaders destroyed many buildings and facilities, including the industrial complex. Immediately after the liberation, the city authorities took measures to restore plants and factories, including the Rechitsa sawmill named after Kirov (resolution No.24 of the Rechitsa City Executive Committee of December 23, 1943 «On the restoration of the Kirov plant» – F.342. Op.1. D.2. L.10), the work of which had to be resumed virtually in ruins. On February 23, 1944, the timber mill produced its first products after the occupation and operated until 1950, then it became part of the Rechitsa house-building plant (currently OJSC Rechitsadrev).
