Employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art took part in the opening of the joint art and documentary exhibition «My Dear Marylka!», jointly with the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum
On February 22, 2024, employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art took part in the opening of the joint art and documentary exhibition «My Dear Marylka!», jointly with the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the birth of the mother of the genius of Belarusian literature, Maria Bogdanovich.
Some of the documents from the Bogdanovich family archive are today stored in BGAMLI. The exhibition from the archive-museum funds presents copies of photographs from the Bogdanovich family album, documents about Maria Myakota’s studies in Minsk and St. Petersburg, copies of documents revealing Maria Afanasyevna’s circle of friends and being documentary witnesses of her life.
With the exhibition «My Dear Marylka!» can be found at the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum (Minsk, M. Bogdanovich Street, 7a) from 02/22/2024 to 04/20/2024.
