About holding an event with students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 1 of Mozyr»

On February 15, 2024, students of the state educational institution «Secondary School No. 1 of Mozyr» visited the institution «Zonal State Archive in Mozyr», where the employees of the institution organized for them a lesson in courage «Afghanistan lives in my soul», dedicated to the 35th th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.

This event contributed to the formation of students’ knowledge about the history of local conflicts, in particular the war in Afghanistan.

During the event, the children got acquainted with the events of the Afghan War, the exploits and heroism of Soviet soldiers.

The students were presented with the memories of internationalist soldiers stored in the Zonal State Archive in Mozyr.
