«Archives to School»: excursion for students of the educational institution «Mogilev State Sanatorium Boarding School for Children with Scoliosis»

As part of the «Archives to School» campaign, the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» was visited by students from the educational institution «Mogilev State Sanatorium Boarding School for Children with Scoliosis.»

In the reading room, employees of the department for the scientific use of documents and information introduced students to the history of archival work in the Mogilev region and the peculiarities of the work of archivists. Documents on the history of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people during the war were presented to students.

Then the excursion continued to the document digitization laboratory, where students were clearly shown the process of digital processing of documents and the conditions for storing documents in archival storage facilities.
