The Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa presents documents on the inclusion of monuments of the Great Patriotic War in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of Belarus

On the Rechitsa land, about 10 thousand civilians became victims of the genocide carried out by the Nazi invaders in 1941 – 1943. Today, they are remembered by numerous mass graves in the city of Rechitsa and the Rechitsa region, including monuments in the village of Pervomaisk (during the war – Kobylevo) and in the Jewish cemetery in Rechitsa, which are of historical and cultural significance. In this regard, in 2012, the Rechitsa District Executive Committee petitioned the Ministry of Culture of Belarus to include these monuments of the Great Patriotic War in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus, as evidenced by the decision of the district executive committee No. 2775 of December 10, 2012 and the justification certificate for it ( F. 348. Op. 4. D. 550. L. 49, 50).
